When I come to Reno to shoot at Washoe, this is always one of the lunch or dinner stops. I prefer Asian food and like to order things I can't easily make. I like this place as they can serve up Japanese (sushi), vietnamese, setchuan and hong Kong style all done pretty good. Good table service and takeout is the bomb.

While in town for Hot August Nights we stopped here for lunch. They have Combo Plates for $13. I had sesame chicken and orange chicken with pork chow mien. My wife had sweet and sour pork and sesame chicken with pork chow mien. The food arrived very quickly and was nice and HOT. The plates were overflowing with food. My wife took about half of hers with her but I was (barely) able to eat it all. Everything tasted good. The servers are BUSY so don't expect small talk.

Service slow had 1 waitress , 1 clean up, and 1 bringing food. Food was good when arrived and good size portions were more than enough to feed the family per order. Environment was a typical cafe/fast food and conveniently open late.

A Flavorful Experience with a Side of Bustle I recently tried the Roasted Duck Soup at Pho Cafe Hong Kong Diner, and it left my taste buds delighted. The savory broth was generously loaded with succulent duck pieces, providing a fulfilling and hearty experience. While the culinary journey was impressive, the ambience was a bit on the noisy side. The lively chatter and clinking of dishes created an energetic atmosphere, but if you prefer a quieter dining setting, this might not be the ideal spot. Overall, the rich flavors of the Roasted Duck Soup make it a must-try for duck enthusiasts, even if you have to embrace a bustling dining environment.

Happy Lunar New Year to me! Had a craving for dim sum but didn't feel like going out so I ordered delivery. Delivery was fast. The baos were good, steamed and hot. Sui mai and har gow were small but flavorful, and the red bean sesame balls hit the spot. Perfect way for me to celebrate a new year.
